How You Got Involved In Letterpress Printing

In college I had a class that had some hands on letterpress (Circa 1980). As an Art Director I find myself less and less in contact with the printing industry. While on a visit to Seattle in 2008 we went to the EMP Museum where there was an exhibit of The Art of Hatch Show Print. Needless to say, I found that a spark had ignited a passion for letterpress. So I decided that letterpress was a great creative outlet. Took a class at Foothill College to get back up to speed, and meet like minded people. Found a press, acquiring type and other assorted items. Don't think I'll be able to quit my day job. But if I could, I'd want to be a letterpress printer.
