How You Got Involved In Letterpress Printing
<p style="text-align: justify;">Keen interest from editing high school and university publications morphed into a career in PR and marketing. Bought 1st press, a C&amp;P 8 x 12 for a bottle of Jack Daniels.</p>
Presses & Equipment
<p style="text-align: justify;">The aforementioned C&amp;P work horse, a couple of for-show Kelseys, a not-fully-assembled schneidewend Reliance iron hand press and a Hoe "Miles Nervine" proof press . lots of type -- but seldom just the right one for the job at hand.</p>
Education & Training
<p style="text-align: justify;">Nothing formal in printing. OJT as editor, planner and purchaser of printing. Initial press time as a hanger on in the neophitic stages of the UnIversity of Alabama book arts program. Trial, error and punishment.</p>
